i would walk 500 miles

which i did.... this weekend in ann arbor visiting frannie. it's more than i've walked in a verrrrry long time.... friday night we walked all around town looking at all the shops on main street and such, browsing at fun fabrics, rocks (of course), jewerly, books, and music, and then walked over to the ann arbor brewery and had dinner. Afterwards we walked back to her place, then drove over to meijer and wandered around looking for awesome stuff to decorate her apartment with. Lastly we headed home and chilled out while watching a movie.

Saturday's walking included strolling around the Detroit Zoo for about 4 hours or so, drove back to ann arbor, had my favorite salad at max and erma's (yum!) -although we really had barely eaten all day, so we were practically holding each other up as we walked into the restaurant. then spent some time decorating her place. At 9:30 or so, we walked all around campus (it was so beautiful out) and went out to dinner at a pizza place- then walked all the way back to her place....

it was crazy fun though - i had no concept of time the entire weekend, and had a blast hanging out....

Sunday's walking included driving to the Somerset Collection mall and walking around there, for about 4 hours or so, and then later that night walking over to the concert hall for the University of Michigan's Symphony Orchestra's Halloween Concert. (WAY FUN!!!! and everyone was in costumes!!!! the entire bass section was a flock of sheep - save one, who was little bo peep!) although by this time, i thought i was gonna pass out... my legs hurt!!!!!
