today, the traffic was awesome! as in, non-existent. maybe the only good thing about mondays.... nobody wants to get up and go to work, so the roads are much better. but speeding along the expressways... just made me want to get going. keep driving. drive til i can't drive no more. southwest... to the canyon.

i think to me the appeal of the road trip is to be surrounded by beauty- mountains or forests or deserts or beautiful plains with rolling hills. anything except cornfields. a breath of fresh air...

but for today, at least, i'm back at this desk
