it's good to be a nerd
I read on yahoo yesterday that I guy in California was being attacked by a great white shark, and to get it to release his leg, he kept repeatedly punching it in the nose, as he had learned on discovery channel that the nose is the most sensitive part of a shark. So, you see, its important to watch geeky shows! They can save your life!

No, silly, the hitting the shark on the nose thing-that was part of the shark episode of mythbusters.
ah. well, regardless - the shark apparently didn't like being hit on the nose, he let the guy's leg go, and the dude'll get to keep his leg....
How about we just stay out the water where there are sharks swimming and we will all be safe. Sounds like a plan to me.
