Christmas Rocks

HEY! 3 days til Christmas! 3 days til my brother comes home! i'm uber excited! last weekend finally started to feel like christmas... last saturday at the zoo, with all the christmas lights, and we had our christmas party last friday for work, and the awesome final christmas shopping out with jenny on tuesday.... And now with the beginning of the christmas presents.... woohoo!!!!! i gotta tell ya, i much prefer giving to getting presents (so don't feel bad if i over-give!) that's just one of the ways i express myself and show how much people mean to me... i love watching people open things that i know they'll love, that i know they wanted, or that i know has special meaning to us.... but it is extremely cool when i get surprised with something! like the awesome "butterflies of the world" poster that frannie gave me yesterday!!!!!! i love that it's special to me and my friends- i got my first truly appreciated how cool they are down in key west with catny and chris - and got my first (and only) one from them while we were there, which was such an awesome treasure to have from a great trip.... and then frannie and i spent a.l.l. d.a.y. at the butterfly garden in the detroit zoo when i visited this fall (which seriously frano is one of my all-time memories with you) so i love that it has so much meaning and beauty and wonderfulness! yay!

Last night Frannie came over and we had a KICK-ASS time! just hanging out, yo! we ate pizza and watched the illini go to 12-0 (GO ILLINI!!!) and chilled and open presents and played blokus.... que fantastico! it was awesome, and totally made me feel more christmasy, because really it's about hanging out with your favorite peeps, right!!!! and some of my favorite peeps are far away, so i gotta make the most outta the ones i can see!!!!! and then with timmy coming home on sunday it'll really, truly be christmas. i can't even describe how excited i am to have my whole family complete again. how it feels like there's a part of me missing when we're not all together.... and not long after that, it's a new year...... with new possibilties.....
