wednesday i went to the movies... to the much anticipated PC2. i hadn't been to a movie in forever.... so just to go was fun. and although i love this franchise of movie and the characters.... i thought this one was a little messy. like they knew it would be so hard to top the last one that there was tooooo much in this one, perhaps at the expense of explaining what the characters were thinking. i can understand why it might not be getting great reviews, because as a stand-alone movie it's pretty confusing, and there is much either not explained or too briefly explained. and becuase davy jones' ship goes underwater, it would have been cool to see more underwater shtuff. but, despite all that, i thought it was great - and can't wait to see how it all ties together.....
