friday...

lots of pictures lately - i seem to have long strings of either picture-blogs or text blogs. Jenny told me i need to just start making stuff up- that's starting to look like a pretty good idea! : ) i need some excitement, man! Crissy's got a blog now too! (i'll put a link to it soon) i think that Frannie, when you finally get a blog going, you should call it froglog. hee hee

So, it's Friday, YAY, and i'm in early at work... i had trouble getting to sleep last night, i have to much 'get up and go' just wanted to keep getting things done. and as soon as i woke up this morning i had the same feeling. a bit restless. hopefully that will translate into a very productive work day. although i'm frustrated lately because itunes keeps freezing up when i'm trying to put on some of my cds.... what's wrong with beethoven? you got a problem with the 9th symphony, computer? huh? don't be hatin'

so... almost the weekend! which is a little scary since i'm looking forward to it so i can get more things done.... we've been majorly cleaning the house... the small bedroom had some boxes in it. and we need to get that room all cleared out for when tim comes home for christmas. but in order to move those boxes to the basement, the basement has to be cleaned, and some of those boxes have to go in the attic, etc, it's a vicsious cycle. viscous? haha, lava. so all the boxes are being sorted through, consolidated, and we're getting rid of a bunch of stuff. it does feel good to de-clutter, and have a place for everything, and get rid of just 'stuff.' more of my stuff is going over to storage today, and we're even getting rid of some furniture. the ten boxes or so we once upon a time would have saved for a garage sale are not going to a resale store. maybe, actually, i'm sure this doesn't sound exciting to you, dear reading, but it does at least feel like getting something accomplished.

with that, i'm also working on a family photo project. every photo from when i was 2 to when i was in high school in on slides. a year ago we bought a scanner with the capability to scan slides and nagatives, and nobody has done anything with it. so a few weeks back i just dug it, scannin slides, and scanning slides, and scannin slides. it's a bit slow, but it's really fun to look at the old pictures. once they're sorted on the computer i'll put them on cds and print out a bunch. i've never had a photo album of my pictures as a kid to thumb through every now and then, so i am definitely excited about that - when i get there. plus, for a while i had sort of been wondering what was happening to my family - we all seem ed to be drifting a bit, getting caught up in work and the everyday. and i think being reminded of all the awesome memories we have will help keep us together.

so, the weekend. tonight i'll get together with brooke, probably to see harry potter, and tomorrow i'm helping colleen move! it'll be a busy weekend! but i'm looking forward to it.
