more proof that there's something wrong with me

Yesterday I totally had a case of music poisoning. There were two songs that I had in my head, and I kept scrolling through the yahoo launchcast radio in the hopes that they would play. It really was like a sickness. When I get a song in my head, I need to hear it over and over and over, like maybe 30 times or more, to get it out or get in through my system. I was able to get one cd on Tuesday night, but since I don’t have the other one, I couldn’t do it…. And it was driving me mad. It makes me obsessive. But strangely, there’s also a distinct physical affect associated with this…. In that I do actually start to feel sick. A heavy-ness in my stomach and a sort of panic-y feeling, like too much acid stored up in your body from exercise. And I get crabby. It’s weird, I know. But that just goes to show you how much music affects me. I hope I can hold out until the weekend so that I can go and get the cd.
