good ole-fashioned family fun

the game of the day is blokus - i played this many moons ago with friends i have lost touch with, : ( and had searched for it for months. finally, just before my brother came home, i found it at the mall. it's super-fun, sort of like playing tetris-chess... and easy, yet it changes every time so it doesn't get boring. i really wanted to play it with my fam - and i think they took to it, because we played it like 15 times while tim was home. it was great. it really is best as a four player game, so i'm a little sad i probably won't play it for a while.... but it was awesome to have the whole "family fun night," at least for a while... it's easy! even cats can play!
