changes

changes are in the air. i’ll be leaving this job in just over two weeks, to keep move onward and upward. after going through two panic-attack-filled weeks, things are finally starting to settle out. i think this change is going to be huge for my mental state. a fresh start, new opportunities, new atmosphere, new schedule... i am definitely excited about it.... ! ! ! ! (oh, and it had not escaped my attention that my last day will be the 26th)

back to the feelings of closure. things can’t be as they used to... you can’t go back. or maybe it’s more like - you can, but why would you want to? it’s good to realize that i’m not the same person i was. i don’t want the same things i used to want. i spent years thinking about what-ifs and i-guess-we’ll-just-never-knows. and then to think – if you could now have those things you thought you wanted to much, would you still want them? it reminded me of a quote from ‘the wedding planner’ - - “what if what you think is great, really is great, but not as great as something.... greater?” and it’s crazily freeing to let go of that. i just felt my whole perspective on it change...
