a book a day keeps the doctor away

friday night i bought the new harry potter book. i began reading about 8pm, i would guess, went to bed around 11, woke up at 8, and had finished the book by 4 pm. during that time i read on my bed, on the sofa in the family room, on the floor next to jack, and then alternating between sitting outside in the sun and sitting on the sofa in the living room. it was like musical chairs, although with reading instead of with music. i knew it was better to take a big chunk of time to read it, because if i’d been continuously interupted, or had to put it down for long periods of time, i would have driven myself nuts wondering what happens next. as it was, it was a very good book – took the story a lot further, and although i’ll be looking forward to the next one, it’ll be sad that there’s only one more.

I have to agree with you there, it is sad that there is only one book left...

I'll wait until they are all out to read them. By that time I will be out of school and actually enjoy reading.
